       Milford Sound, New Zealand  Action and Adventure town If you like action and adventure, the perfect place to visit is  the South island of New Zealand. It is an extremely popular tourist destination, during both summer and winter, and offers  all types of  activities. The South island is is well known for its mountain range called    Kā Tiritiri o te Moana  in Māori or the Southern Alps as named by the explorer James Cook. The range is rugged and is part of the Ring of Fire. You can see the sudden change in the topography and scenery as you fly from the North island to the South.   New Zealand North Island   Air New Zealand  The next segment of flights was also long as we flew from Singapore to Auckland, had a few hours break and then flew from Auckland to Rotorua.  The flight from Singapore to Auckland was 10 hours while the flight from Auckland to Rotorua was 1 hour. The flight and the service on Air New Zealand was very good. Once again, we chose the Premium Economy bulkhead seats which gave us the freedom to get up without restriction.
